Test lead with Insurance domain expertise and experience in Automation testing, API testing

Detailed Job Description
6+ years of QA experience with mission-critical insurance programs (required).
• Strong insurance domain knowledge and experience testing insurance platforms (EIS, Guidewire, Duck Creek, or similar).
• Experience with test planning, test case design, regression strategy, and integration testing.
• Strong defect management discipline using Jira (or equivalent) and clear written documentation.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and communicate quality risks early.
• API testing experience (Postman or similar) and validation of service integrations.
• Exposure to test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured) is a plus.
• Experience coordinating onshore/offshore QA teams and managing test execution metrics.
• Owns quality outcomes and communicates risks early; no surprises late in the cycle.
• Proactive and self-directed; does not require repeated follow-ups.
• Strong attention to detail with practical decision-making to keep delivery moving.
• Clear, concise reporting of progress and blockers.
• Jira with Zephyr/Xray (or equivalent test management tools).
• Postman (preferred), SQL basics for validation (preferred).
CI pipelines and test evidence tooling exposure (preferred).
