As a Wellness Guide, you'll be at the heart of the guest wellness journey, delivering exceptional, personalized guest experiences aligned with CIVANA brand standards, leading group classes, guiding 1-on-1 consultations, and helping guests connect with practices that leave a lasting impact. We're especially looking for Guides with strength in meditation, sound bowls / breath & sound, and fitness instruction; yoga teaching experience is welcome but a lower priority for this hiring round. Guides are the face of CIVANA on camera and across our platforms, so genuine comfort in front of guests and content is a must.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and instruct diverse group classes, catering to various levels

• Offer 1-on-1 consultations, personalized training, and guest engagement, plus community events and motivation to help our guests along their wellness journeys

• Engage guests through hosted experiences (e.g., community activations and events)

• Support the Programs and Design teams to identify and create own-able, differentiated formats for both transient and group guests

• Work with Marketing to develop content that furthers our position as a leader in wellness/wellness travel across platforms (web, email, social)

• Support setup, breakdown, and transitions for classes and events

• Partner with the Operations team to ensure seamless daily execution, including check-ins as needed

• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of wellness and activity spaces


QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated teaching or facilitation experience in at least one priority modality: meditation, sound bowls/breath & sound, or fitness instruction

• 1-3+ years of experience in hospitality, wellness, fitness, or guest-facing roles

• Comfortable being photographed/filmed for use across CIVANA's web, email, and social platforms; genuinely comfortable being the face of CIVANA

• Strong communication skills and ability to connect with a wide range of guests

• Comfortable leading small and larger groups and speaking in front of others

• Passion for wellness, mindfulness, and guest experience

• Team-oriented, adaptable, and proactive

• Full-time availability, 40+ hours/week; open to weekends and holidays
