THE OPPORTUNITY
Michelin North America- MICHELIN® Fleet Solutions™ is hiring for a Commercial Tire Technician.
We offer effective tire fleet solutions for a full range of applications, including transit, motor coach, refuse and all types of trucking fleets. MICHELIN® Fleet Solutions™. We are located across the United States.
Mechanical experience is preferred, but expertise isn't required for this position. You will be trained in any skills required. Let us to invest in your success as you invest in ours.

This position is for night shift (start times may vary), 8-hour shifts with overtime available after 40 hours.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Be accountable for properly and safely performing the tire related services needed for our customers to safely drive their vehicles out on the road.
• Service commercial tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflate tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Comply with OSHA regulations (you will receive OSHA 10 certification) and safety requirements including how wear proper PPE, use tire cages, and follow all other safety policies and procedures (All certifications paid for by Michelin).
• You'll earn a TIA (Tire Industry Association) Certification
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • A valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
  • Be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Be able to perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which include standing, intermittent bending, crouching, squatting, reaching movements, and lifting product of weights up to 75 pounds. Tire mounting assistance and equipment, such as lift-assist, is available for weights exceeding 75 pounds, as well as helping with any lifting.
  • Your commitment to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
  • A High School Diploma or GED.
