Associate Attorney - Nevada (Licensed)

Join Guglielmo & Associates, PLLC, a growing multi-jurisdictional creditors' rights and debt recovery law firm.

We are seeking a Nevada-licensed attorney in good standing with at least two years of civil litigation experience to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys a fast-paced environment, courtroom experience, and direct involvement in case strategy.

What You'll Do

  • Manage a high-volume caseload with meaningful attorney oversight and involvement
  • Analyze legal and regulatory issues and provide strategic recommendations
  • Advise on legal risk and compliance matters
  • Handle escalated client complaints and legal inquiries
  • Attend court hearings and proceedings, both in person and telephonically
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests, stipulations, and other legal documents
  • Conduct legal research and prepare reports, opinions, and correspondence
  • Advocate effectively on behalf of firm clients
  • Maintain professionalism and uphold the firm's reputation in all interactions

Qualifications

  • Active Nevada Bar membership and good standing
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Minimum two years of civil litigation experience
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local laws
  • Ability to analyze legal issues, case law, and regulatory requirements
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Preferred Experience

The ideal candidate will have experience in:

  • Creditors' rights and collections litigation
  • Court appearances and motion practice
  • FDCPA compliance
  • Bankruptcy and collections law
  • Regulatory and compliance-related matters

Additional bar admission in Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, or Colorado is a plus.
