Love horses? Love the outdoors? Join us at Drakesbad Guest Ranch in breathtaking Lassen Volcanic National Park! Spend your summer leading horseback rides through pristine wilderness, exploring stunning lakes, hiking scenic trails, and sharing unforgettable experiences with guests from all over the world.

Your Role:
As a Wrangler, you’ll care for our horses, lead guests safely on rides, and help create a welcoming, fun, and safe environment for everyone at the ranch. This is more than a job—it’s a summer adventure!

What You’ll Do:

  • Feed, groom, and saddle horses; maintain tack

  • Lead rides for guests of all ages and experience levels

  • Teach horse safety and assist with mounting/dismounting

  • Be a friendly, supportive face for our guests

  • Help out with other ranch activities as needed

You’re a Great Fit If:

  • You have wrangling/horse experience (1 year preferred)

  • You’re a people person who loves helping guests

  • You can lift 25–50 lbs and handle a variety of shifts, including weekends

  • You’re ready for an active, outdoor lifestyle
