Nestled in the beautiful Lassen Volcanic National Park, Drakesbad Guest Ranch offers a rustic and memorable experience for all our guests. Join our team and help us deliver exceptional guest service in a friendly, dynamic, and picturesque environment!

Position Summary:
As a Guest Services Attendant, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth experience throughout their stay. This role combines guest service, cashiering, and light food preparation responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests with a positive attitude and helpful demeanor

  • Operate POS system for sales transactions, including opening and closing procedures

  • Handle cash and credit cards accurately, following company procedures

  • Assist with guest check-in and check-out at the lodge

  • Manage dining hall and outdoor seating areas

  • Maintain cleanliness of restaurant, store rooms, kitchen, and public areas

  • Stock Grab n Go coolers and beverage/ice cream stations (if applicable)

  • Serve food to guests
  • Prepare sandwiches and perform barista duties as needed

  • Understand and follow company ISO (Environmental amp; Quality) management systems

  • Promote teamwork and contribute to a positive work environment

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong communication skills in English (read, write, speak)

  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally

Preferred Experience:

  • Six months or more in food and beverage or hospitality environment
