Job Summary:

As a Guest Services Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm and welcoming experience. Youwill manage reservations,assistguests with their needs, and contribute to the overall operations of the front desk. (Seasonal working dates: Date of Hire through November 1st)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests upon arrival andassistwith the check-in process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.

  • Handle guest check-outs, process payments, and provideaccuratebilling information.

  • Manage reservations through the hotel management system, ensuring accuracy and availability.

  • Handle phone inquiries andassistguests with booking reservations, providing information about rates, availability, and lodge amenities.

  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Offer local information, recommend activities, andassistguests with planning their stay.

  • Maintain effective communication with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and address any guest issues.

  • Collaborate with other departments to provide seamless service to guests and support lodge operations.

  • Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, andmaintainingorganized records.

  • Prepare daily reports andassistwith cash handling, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.

Work Location:

  • Due to the in-person nature of the hospitality business, RV space with hook ups are available at no cost for employees and limited employee housing at no cost is available on-siteand commuting fromthe local vicinity is also acceptable.

  • Due to the nature of our business,Zion Mountain Ranch is open every day.You must be prepared toworka schedule which may include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Technical skillsforentries of reservationsand quality performance.

  • Establish successful working relationships with co-workers and the public.

  • Ability to get along well with people, be honest,punctualand reliable.

  • Ability to remain calm and friendly.

  • Ability to physically be out to make rounds throughout the resort.

  • Ability to adapt to changing work conditions.

  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required;additionaleducation in hospitality or related field is a plus.

  • Previousexperience in a front desk or customer service role is preferred.

  • Strong communicationand interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues.

  • Proficient in computer systems andsoftware;experience with hotel management systems is a plus.

  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
