Position Overview
The Yard Technician plays a critical role in supporting field construction teams by maintaining accurate inventory, preparing materials for projects, and ensuring efficient shipping and receiving operations.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying organized, and being part of a team that keeps operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and random inventory counts to ensure material accuracy
  • Learn and identify all materials used in construction operations
  • Pull and stage materials for outgoing project orders
  • Process and re-inventory all returned materials from job sites
  • Assist with shipping and receiving, including loading and unloading deliveries
  • Maintain an organized and safe yard environment
  • Perform general labor and yard maintenance duties as needed
  • Complete inventory documentation and paperwork accurately and on time

Compensation & Benefits
Pay Rate: $20-$25 per hour
Overtime: High potential for overtime depending on workload and project needs.
