Lifetime Veterinary Center is a family run, fun, professional, American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited, small animal hospital serving the Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens communities. We practice quality medicine and strive to make every patients visit positive.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Organizing and seeing scheduled and urgent care patients
  • Advanced care of surgery and hospitalized patients
  • Thorough knowledge of veterinary diets, vaccines and common medications
  • Phlebotomy - blood draw and catheterization
  • Dental charting, scaling and polishing
  • Dispensing and administering medications
  • Performing medical treatments on patients
  • Care of the clinic including extensive cleaning of the grounds, kennels and hospital.
  • Collecting lab samples (blood, urine and stool)
  • Taking X-rays (both dental and full body)
  • Taking history, vital signs and effectively communicating with clients
  • Entering records into electronic medical record

Qualifications and Skills

  • Certification as a Veterinary Technician with at least 2 years experience preferred.
  • A positive, friendly, outgoing personality
  • Familiarity with equipment and procedures used in a veterinary hospital
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Well organized with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • A willingness to contribute the team
  • A true love of animals
  • Excellent reading, writing and computer skills.
