Allied Universal is seeking Security Guard Residential in North York, ON

 

Position: Security Guard Residential 

Location: North York, ON

Pay Rate: $17.96 per hour

Status: Part-time 

Shift: Saturday and Sunday | Afternoon to Evening | 4:00PM -  11:00PM

Overview:

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Guard Residential to oversee one of our residential sites in North York, ON. The ideal candidate is a seasoned individual with excellent communication skills, customer service skills, and able to work with a dynamic security team. If you have experience in residential security, enjoy patrolling, and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.

Requirements:

  • 6-12 months Security Guard experience
  • Valid Driver's License is an asset.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and customer service
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
  • First Aid and CPR
  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of the designated area to monitor and ensure the safety and security of the premises.
  • Maintain detailed records of patrols, documenting incidents, irregularities, and any equipment malfunctions.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, property management, contractors, and other property staff.
  • Maintain a professional attitude towards training and security protocols, including emergency response and communications.
  • Address and resolve resident complaints, ensuring total client satisfaction.
  • Support property management with any additional tasks as required.
