Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Security Guard

What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Your strong observation skills with attention to detail are your greatest strengths. 

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as security operation centres, call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.

Schedule: Fridays 0830-1830 & Saturdays 0830-1630 

Location: N3T 2Z7

Responsibilities for Surveillance Security Guard
  • De-escalate situations professionally and maintain positive, respectful interactions.
  • Respond promptly to elevated voices, incidents, and potential security threats.
  • Monitor CCTV, alarm panels, and other security systems for suspicious activity or concerns.
  • Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols, including parking lots.
  • Maintain a visible and alert presence to deter unauthorized or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor and control access to secure areas and verify visitor identification.
  • Identify and report security system issues, vulnerabilities, or malfunctions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and prepare detailed incident and activity reports.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and work with law enforcement when required.
Qualifications for Surveillance Security Guard
  • Be authorized to work in Canada
