Job Title: Security Guard
REPORTS TO: Lease Manager
Job Summary for Security Guard
The Security Guard secures the auction lot. They are responsible for maintaining the security of the premises as well as to intake any new vehicles that are being transported into the auction lot. This is a position heavily focused on customer service.

Work Hours for Security Guard
  • Monday - Friday
  • 6am - 2pm
  • No nights or weekends

Responsibilities for Security Guard
  • Always provide efficient and courteous service to all customers.
  • Receive and log all incoming vehicles.
  • Checks and verifies stock number, VIN, color and model of all vehicles, prior to release.
  • Ensure appropriate signature and approval on all release documents.
  • Patrols the entire premises looking for anything out of the ordinary.
  • Communicates timely and exceptionally well with supervisor and leadership informing them if there is any concern.
  • Ensure facility is always guarded.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly guard shack.
  • Works well independently as well as being a good team player.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Bilingual, English/Spanish, is a plus but not required.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods across lots and facilities.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to respond quickly to incidents and navigate active operational areas safely.
  • Ability to occasionally lift to 25 pounds (cones, barriers, signage, equipment).
