Job description

Job Purpose
A Day Security Guard provides a safe and secure environment for Funtown Splashtown USA during park operating hours. They are responsible for walking throughout the theme park areas--onstage and backstage locations--providing security functions, focusing on excellent conflict resolution skills, while balancing the importance of providing great Guest Service.
  • Make rounds through the park.
  • Be a presence for the guests and team members.
  • Answer and assist guests when able.
  • Be observant.
  • Assist Funtown Splashtown USA when asked.
  • Other duties will be discussed as they present themselves.

Complies with and enforces all policies and procedures of Funtown Splashtown USA
  • Follow all policies and procedures of the park and the Security Department.
  • Understand and enforce all safety policies and emergency procedures of park operations.
  • Maintain professional appearance following all uniform guidelines.
  • Attend all required department, interdepartmental, and park trainings.
  • Assist as needed with any other duties as requested.

Basic Qualifications :
  • Must be a minimum age of 18.
  • Must meet the physical demands, including but not limited to:
    • Prolonged standing for two to three hours at a time.
    • Constant standing and walking.
    • Constant use of hands.
  • Demonstrated strong computer proficiency, including typing skills and the ability to navigate through multiple computer system.
