Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Perform minor troubleshooting, repair, & minor part change outs (advised by management and technicians); perform preventive maintenance on all games and attractions to minimize down time. Games should be kept in a like-new condition.
Update web-based tracking system in a timely manner, as repairs and maintenance are completed.
Communicate all game problems or arcade operational issues with Manager and technicians.
Program the Embed system, ensure hardware operations, repair, and installation.
Reset games and readers on an as needed basis.
Visually inspect and replace or balance play elements in each game to keep them in working order.
Greet each guest that has a problem or issue with a smile and good attitude and ascertain what is needed to resolve the issue in the quickest and fairest way possible to the guest.
Answer questions regarding the location of and information about Fun Quest's facilities, games, and merchandise.
Demonstrate use or operation of games and merchandise.
Assist other GSR Recreation locations in set up, tear down, game moves or improving their operations.
Manage and protect company assets including, but not limited to, equipment and systems containing sensitive or proprietary information and data.
Maintain working relationships with all departments, company personnel and partners.
When needed, assist with daily operations such as redemption and running attractions.
Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Meet requirements of regular attendance to effectively complete job responsibilities in a timely manner.

Ability to verbally communicate in English and attend and participate in meetings to be informed of new rules, regulation, and procedures and to discuss other concerns.
Work with interruptions and to perform multiple tasks while remaining collected in high pressure situations.
Ability of complex reading, writing, math, and task completion skills is required.
Must have the following skills: coordination, analyzing, precision working, following instructions, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making.
Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Previous technician experience preferred or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly sitting, standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and balancing during the duration of their shift.
Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull 75lbs or less constantly.
The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both hands, light grasping motions and firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required.
Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work performed indoors and outdoors, alone and frequently with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others on extended shifts around computer equipment, electrical, and mechanical devices.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be quiet or loud at times.
Team member may be exposed to extreme heat, extreme cold, vibrations, solvents/oils, fumes/odors, dirt/dust, flame/heat generated devices, moving objects, high places, and slippery surfaces.
