The Security Manager - GSOC is responsible for the leadership, performance, and continuous advancement of the organization's 24/7 Global Security Operations Center. This role oversees global security operations, including access control, alarm monitoring, video surveillance, incident intake, emergency response coordination, and geopolitical risk monitoring.
In addition to managing daily operations, the Security Manager plays a key role with the ongoing evolution of the GSOC by driving process improvement, standardizing operating procedures, strengthening incident management capabilities, and integrating risk intelligence into security operations. Working closely with the Director, Global Physical Security, this position supports the development of a modern GSOC that delivers operational monitoring, enterprise-wide situational awareness, risk-informed decision support, and coordinated response to security-related events.
The successful candidate will combine strong leadership, operational expertise, and strategic thinking to support the continued evolution of the GSOC into a proactive, intelligence-driven security operations model that strengthens the organization's ability to identify, assess, and respond to security incidents and emerging risks.
Location: Onsite: North Canton, Ohio
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) personnel, programs, and daily operations to ensure effective 24/7 monitoring and response.
- Oversee enterprise access control, video surveillance (CCTV), intrusion detection, alarm monitoring, and related security technologies.
- Ensure timely assessment, escalation, coordination, and resolution of security incidents, emergencies, and business disruptions.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve GSOC policies, procedures, playbooks, and escalation protocols.
- Drive standardization and optimization of security operations processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and service delivery across the organization.
- Monitor and evaluate emerging threats, global events, and security trends to support risk-informed decision making.
- Lead the development of operational metrics, dashboards, performance indicators, and reporting to measure program effectiveness.
- Support the evaluation, implementation, and administration of security technologies, monitoring platforms, and intelligence solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including HR, Facilities, Health & Safety, IT, Business Resiliency, and regional security teams during incidents and investigations.
- Foster a culture of accountability, operational excellence, customer service, and continuous improvement within the GSOC.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum 6-8 years of professional experience in Security or related field and 1-2 years leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), Corporate Security, or related security operations teams in complex, multi-site environments.
- Knowledge of physical security technologies, including Physical Access Control Systems (PACS), video surveillance (CCTV), intrusion detection systems, alarm monitoring platforms, and incident management tools.
- Highly experienced managing Security service providers and contracts.
- Proficient in all Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams
- Travel: 10 % quarterly travel within US
- Location: Onsite: North Canton, Ohio
