We have a Class A Driver TEAMS opening in Corbin, KY for Recent New CDL Graduates that have received their CDL License. We want the right driver to join us at Ryder. 

6 - 9 Months Experience ask about our Extended Driver Development Program!

We have developed proficiency-based training with experienced facilitators. Drivers will receive 8 weeks of training focusing on all backing, close quarter maneuvers, practice doing short and longer runs and get paid while doing so. Gain hands-on experience from the finest instructors in the industry. 

Ryder Employees who Drive on this account earn $1050 or more Weekly and it gets better

  • Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly
  • Weekly Minimum Guarantee during training $1050 per week
  • Weekly Minimum Guarantee after training $1715 per week
  • Team Miles Pay:$0.335 per Mile with 5000 Miles per Week
  • Team Stops Pay:$7.00 per Stop with 4 - 8 Stops per day
  • Drop and Hook Pay: $6.00 per Drop/Hook

  • 9 months or less of CDL driving experience
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test
  • Pass a Ryder background and a Motor Vehicle Registration check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A
  • Ability to:
    • Follow written and/or oral instructions
    • Read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note: Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.


  • Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) regarding the checking in and out of freight
  • Perform other duties as assigned
