Job Title: GSE Technician
Job Description

As a GSE Technician, you will play a crucial role in creating custom parts and components, working with a variety of materials, tools, and technologies. Your responsibilities will include overseeing and executing fabrication tasks, supporting vehicle build, integration, and GSE repair and fabrication.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute fabrication tasks such as cutting, welding, machining, painting, and assembling materials and components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate production.
  • Operate and maintain fabrication machinery and equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Perform custom fabrication work tailored to specific requirements and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other technicians to optimize fabrication processes and solve technical issues.
  • Support the repair and fabrication of Ground Support Equipment (GSE), ensuring functionality and reliability.
  • Assist with mechanical assembly, vehicle integration, and composites when needed.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in using hand tools and operating fabrication and building equipment.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hr.
