As of 10/01/2021, the MAPA career ladder has changed and is no longer a GS-7/9/11/12/13. MAJOR DUTIES
  • Serves as an analyst responsible for planning, research, analysis, and administrative management functions addressing complex issues relative to Human Resources.
  • Create informative and engaging communications, written reports, and presentations, to including providing recommendations and findings to mid-level/executive management.
  • Analyze results from research, surveys, interviews, and/or other data to prepare charts, statistical analysis reports, project plans, and responses in order to advise managers on difficult and/or complex issues and present recommendations for the development of proposed activities.
  • Researches past practices, procedures, policies, directives, and regulations to evaluate and develop new ideas and techniques to drive changes.
  • Provides recommendations to problems that impact program goals/objectives; recommends new and/or changes to existing policies.
  • Prepares short-range plans in accordance with FBI policies and directives to manage various Human Resources based programs and activities.
  • Participates in special and ad-hoc HR projects and/or working groups of a diverse and/or complex nature.
