CDL B Vac Truck Operator.

Ziegler Industries | Travel Required | 24/7 Availability.

Ready to take control of powerful equipment and make a real impact in industrial cleaning?:
At Ziegler Industries, we’re looking for skilled and safety-focused Operators to run industrial vacuum trucks, high-pressure water blasters, and other heavy-duty cleaning equipment. If you’ve got mechanical know-how, a strong work ethic, and the drive to work in tough industrial environments, this is the job for you! 
 
What You’ll Be Doing (Your Daily Mission):
  • Drive & Operate Equipment: Transport, set up, and operate industrial vacuum trucks & hydroblasting machines for hazardous and non-hazardous cleanups.
  • Keep Equipment Running Smoothly: Perform daily check-ups, routine maintenance, and minor repairs to prevent breakdowns.
  • Troubleshoot Like a Pro: Identify mechanical issues and troubleshoot on-site to keep jobs moving.
  • Stay Safe, Stay Smart: Follow all health & safety protocols while working around heavy machinery and hazardous materials.
  • Go Where the Work Is: Travel to various industrial job sites and be ready for on-call 24/7 shifts.
  • Work Hard, Get Dirty: Lift heavy loads, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces, extreme temperatures, and high elevations (up to 250 feet).
  • Prevent Cross-Contamination: Decontaminate equipment after each job to meet safety and company standards.

What You Need to Succeed:
Skills & Qualifications:
  • 21+ years old with at least 18 months of industrial cleaning experience.
  • Ability to perform hands on, active work - that involves lifting up to 70 pounds, climbing, and working in demanding environments.
  • Mechanical aptitude – ability to maintain and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Willing to travel and work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • On-call 24/7 availability – industrial cleaning doesn’t wait.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow safety procedures.
  • Pass medical screenings & drug tests (pre-employment, random, and annual).
  • Class B CDL (or willingness to obtain if medically qualified).
