Role Description The Growth Engineer role at Wajo AI is a hybrid position based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with flexibility for work from home. This role focuses on designing, testing, and optimizing growth experiments across channels, including product flows, landing pages, and campaigns. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing user behavior and funnel metrics, collaborating with product and marketing to identify opportunities, and implementing data-driven experiments to increase acquisition, activation, and retention. The Growth Engineer will build and iterate on tools, dashboards, and automations to support scalable growth, while communicating insights clearly to cross-functional partners and contributing to the overall go-to-market strategy.


Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills, including data analysis, experimentation, and performance measurement.
  • Full stack enough to ship an experiment without waiting on another team. 
  • Experience with Market Research, user insights, and competitive analysis to inform growth strategies.
  • Effective Communication skills, with the ability to present findings and collaborate across engineering, product, and marketing teams.
  • Background in Sales and Marketing, with familiarity in customer acquisition, funnel optimization, and growth tactics.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., SQL, product analytics platforms), A/B testing frameworks, and basic scripting or programming for experimentation.
  • Experience in fast-paced startup environments and comfort working with ambiguity and rapid iteration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, technical, or business-related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Interest in AI-driven products and willingness to work closely with AI engineers and product teams to shape growth experiments.
  • Experience with Early-stage, where you set the growth process.
