Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead high-priority strategic initiatives from problem definition through recommendation, decision-making, and execution.
  • Own competitive intelligence and market analysis, tracking industry trends, competitor activity, customer needs, and emerging growth opportunities.
  • Synthesize complex business, market, and technology developments into actionable executive-level insights, business cases, and operating recommendations.
  • Support build, partner, or buy decisions by developing market assessments, financial analyses, strategic rationale, and execution plans for organic and inorganic growth opportunities.


Requirements:

  • 4 years at a top-tier strategy firm (Bain, BCG, McKinsey, or comparable) followed by 3+ years in an operating role at a technology company, e.g., strategy, operations, or a general management seat where you owned outcomes, not decks and meeting cadences. Exposure to M&A processes (buy-side diligence, integration planning) and strategic finance is a plus.
  • Proven expertise in structuring and executing complex, cross-functional strategic projects; exceptional analytical skills, including financial modeling and data-driven decision-making; strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior executives; deep understanding of the cloud, infrastructure, or developer-focused technology space is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in a high-output strategy, corporate development, or business operations role within the technology or cloud infrastructure sector.
  • Experience partnering directly with Product, Finance, Cloud Capacity, and GTM leaders to translate strategy into operating plans.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex industry trends (AI/ML, developer tools) into executive-level insights.
  • Experience supporting strategic due diligence and financial rationale for corporate development workstreams.
