Job description

We're looking for a Purchasing Manager to oversee daily purchasing activities to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement of materials and components required for our manufacturing operations.

What you'll do:

  • Supervise and support the purchasing team, including workload prioritization and performance management
  • Oversee procurement of raw materials, MRO supplies, capital equipment, and service
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to support production while minimizing excess and obsolescence
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and service improvements
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and evaluate vendor performance
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Finance teams
  • Ensure purchase orders are accurate, timely, and compliant with internal controls
  • Identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Analyze purchasing data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement
  • Support audits, compliance requirements, and ERP system integrity
