Job Description

Join our team as a Program Scheduler Senior Specialist, where you’ll play a key role in driving program success. In this position, you will analyze and manage program schedules, assess project performance, and support critical programs partnering across functions including finance, engineering, subcontracts management, manufacturing, and quality. You’ll ensure all schedules are integrated, identify risks and potential conflicts, and keep programs on track using industry‑standard tools like Gantt and PERT charts and Earned Value Management. This is an opportunity to make an impact by keeping our most important programs running smoothly and efficiently.

Essential Functions
  • Develops, tracks, and analyzes integrated program schedules, including identifying and resolving critical path and network logic conflicts, with limited oversight.
  • Performs risk analysis and conducts root cause investigations to ensure timely project delivery and mitigate potential issues. Analyses schedule health using DCMA guidelines and schedule execution metrics.
  • Utilizes project management tools (including Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, Earned Value Management) to monitor progress, analyze performance, and drive focus on critical areas. Understands industry standards, such as Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA-748 EVMS Standards).
  • Prepares, develops, and coordinates integrated master plans and schedules (IMP, IMS, PSMS) using MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ensures project schedules are aligned and integrated across multiple functional groups, such as finance, engineering, subcontracts management, manufacturing, and quality.
  • Provides guidance, coaching, and training to other employees, sharing expertise in project scheduling and management processes.
  • Communicates effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders (customers, vendors), representing the scheduling function and gaining cooperation on processes and practices.
  • Ensures compliance with internal program procedures, project control guidelines, and actively contributes to process and system improvements.
  • Leads and participates in scheduling status reviews; generates inputs to planning related program CDRLs; presents findings and recommendations to senior leaders and contributes to departmental planning and operational goals.
  • Ability to obtain US government clearance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills
  • Three years of MS Project Experience.
  • Experience creating and/or maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and any supporting schedules on assigned projects/programs; creating and presenting project-level reports, presentations and deliverables that reflect risk and status to program management and senior management relating to the IMS is required.
  • Monte Carlos Risk Analysis (Schedule Risk Analysis) and EVMS – Earned Value Management Systems.
  • Structured Solutions - SSI tools management
  • Program management and or Coordination, SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) process
