Position Type: Part-time, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time
Compensation: Variable


Position Overview

TheProgram Director for Trauma Stress Resilience Clinical Team provides clinical and administrative leadership for a designated program within UCEBT. This role is responsible for overseeing program planning, implementation, evaluation, and team coordination while ensuring adherence to clinical, ethical, and operational standards.

Program Director works closely with the CEO and administrative leadership team to support program development, clinician performance, and high-quality patient care.


Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution
  • Active licensure as a psychologist in the state of practice (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Active participation in PSYPACT
  • Advanced clinical expertise in evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment
  • Prior leadership, supervisory, or program management experience in a clinical setting
  • Demonstrated experience providing clinical supervision to trainees, postdoctoral fellows, or licensed clinicians
  • Strong knowledge of ethical, legal, and regulatory standards governing psychological practice
  • Experience leading or developingspecialty clinical programs within a group practice, hospital, or academic clinic
  • Experience monitoring clinical productivity, program outcomes, and operational metrics
  • Expertise in evidence-based therapies and program development
  • Demonstrated ability to support clinician development, team functioning, and quality improvement initiatives


Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Administration

  • Oversee planning, implementation, marketing, and evaluation of the clinical program
  • Represent the program director group and serve as liaison to administrative teams as designated (Executive, Operations, Marketing/Outreach, Ethics/Crisis Management)
  • Monitor program adherence to operational procedures, legal requirements, and clinical policies
  • Collaborate with operations leadership to monitor financial and administrative targets (e.g., clinical hours, budget utilization) and develop corrective plans when needed


Team Supervision & Development

  • Provide direct weekly supervision to the program's Client Care Coordinator (CCC)
  • Meet with clinicians and trainees to address administrative concerns and provide feedback
  • Provide clinical consultation and supervision to postdoctoral fellows and clinicians within the program
  • Monitor therapist caseloads, workload balance, and signs of burnout or impairment
  • Ensure clinicians meet CE requirements for licensure and PSYPACT participation


Clinical Oversight

  • Provide consultation for urgent clinical issues and ensure adherence to crisis protocols
  • Maintain oversight of client assignment and clinical coverage within the program
  • Maintain a census of program clients and monitor care needs, including evaluations, transitions, or referrals
  • Disseminate clinical policies and updates to clinicians


Program Operations

  • Develop and implement program-specific procedures and maintain documentation within the UCEBT Operations Manual
  • Lead regular consultation team meetings
  • Monitor clinician documentation timeliness and adherence to clinical standards
  • Address conflict or concerns among program staff


Direct Clinical Contribution

  • Maintain an assigned number of clinical hours per week, including direct service delivery, supervision, training, office hours, and consultations


Additional Responsibilities

  • Seek administrative supervision from the CEO as needed
  • Provide feedback to clinicians and supervisors regarding client care
  • Support program development and team functioning
  • Perform other duties as assigned
