Fund Accounting Manager - ETF Operations

Job Overview

Apex Group is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to join our Operations team with a focus on ExchangeTraded Funds (ETFs). This role is ideal for an experienced ETF operations professional who brings strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with internal teams, clients, and Authorized Participants.

The successful candidate will have at least 3+ years of ETF operations experience and 5-7+ years of overall relevant industry experience. This is a handson role with responsibility for daily operational activities, issue resolution, and supporting operational controls.

Key Responsibilities

ETF Operations

  • Process ETF creation and redemption orders in the primary market
  • Manage creation and redemption settlements, including cash and inkind transactions
  • Coordinate ETF unit settlements and maintain effective relationships with Authorized Participants (APs)
  • Respond to AP inquiries related to creation and redemption activity
  • Support CNS operations related to ETF trading and settlement
  • Manage and support ETF rebalance activity
  • Process ETF collateral and perform related P&L calculations

Fund Operations & Controls

  • Apply working knowledge of mutual fund accounting, particularly as it relates to ETF structures
  • Demonstrate understanding of custodial processes specific to ETFs
  • Investigate and resolve transaction services and operational issues
  • Maintain operational controls and review work completed by junior staff
  • Participate in system enhancements, testing, and process improvements
  • Provide informal training and onthejob guidance to new or junior team members as needed

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of direct ETF operations experience
  • 5-7+ years of total relevant industry experience
  • Experience with InvestOne Accounting platform would be preferred
  • Strong understanding of ETF lifecycle events and operational processes
  • Experience working with Authorized Participants and external counterparties
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical, wellorganized approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Salary ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000. Compensation within this range is dependent on individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
