About the role
The responsibility of the Director, business Operations, is to assist the leadership team in achieving operational excellence and is tasked with improving the company's quote-to-invoice execution through standardization, clarity of roles, efficiency, scalability, and readiness. The Director, Business Operations, is intimately involved in the business operations planning and execution process and is future focused on operational effectiveness and readiness for growth, expansion, and integration with Group systems and processes.

Annual compensation: $150K CAD + bonus


What you'll be doing

  • Partners with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.
  • Embrace and support Computacenter's mission and core values.
  • Work with various internal departments, as well as CC North America and Group functions to formulate and execute plans for Canadian growth
  • Own the optimization and continuous improvement of the quote-to-invoice lifecycle for Tech Sourcing
  • Align with Group best practices where appropriate, while maintaining Computacenter Canada integrity, strength, and readiness.
  • Ensure preparedness for future integration and alignment with Group systems and ways of working.
  • Leverage existing internal systems, including Great Plains, SalesForce.com and other data sources, to extract critical data about sales and services for analysis and reporting.
  • Analyze and report on customer data and other customer sales data from the Company ERP system.
  • Prepare company data and analytics for monthly and quarterly sales and services operations reviews
  • Maintain and grow our customer database in order to better serve client needs, and facilitate future business opportunities, communications, and reporting.
  • Assist with strategic sales initiatives and tracking and monitoring of sales performance.
  • Participate in the Sales, Solutions Sales, and Professional Services annual compensation and budget planning process.
  • Work with the Finance team to assist with rationalizing and reconciling key sales information, commissions, bonuses, and/or other compensation tracking or reporting related items.


What you have

  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Must meet minimum security clearance requirements
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • 5 - 10 years direct experience in operational effectiveness, business process consulting or managing in a business operations role.
  • Experience with drafting or conceiving P&L and/or contribution business models.
  • B.S. or equivalent in business, finance, or related discipline. Master's degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of sales and sales support strategies and techniques needed to sell using framework agreements
  • Good knowledge and experience of MS Office and MS Teams
  • Detail-oriented, with robust problem-solving abilities
  • Strategic thinking and tactical execution skills
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively across functions
  • Skilled in handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Good knowledge of the IT industry and an understanding of IT technologies and products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good self-organization and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests simultaneously
  • Can build trust, be assertive when required and shows initiative and enthusiasm
  • Resilience, and able to deal with stressful situations
  • Business and financial acumen with strong analytical skills
  • Team-oriented working and thinking
