Job description

Registered Nurse Needed for Non-profit Human Services Organization

Location: Needham, MA
Pay Rate: Up to $53/hour (based on experience)
Duration: 13-week contract to start (potential for extension)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a community-based setting. This role focuses on promoting health, safety, and overall well-being while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing assessments and ongoing health monitoring
  • Administer and oversee medications and treatments
  • Coordinate care with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary staff
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
  • Support individuals with chronic conditions and preventative care needs
  • Train and guide staff on medical protocols and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with all state regulations and safety standards
Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
  • Previous experience in developmental disabilities, community health, or long-term care preferred
  • Strong clinical, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a community-based environment
  • CPR/BLS certification required
