The Homegrown Hospitality Group is looking for a General Manager to lead one of our premier restaurants. We offer a unique opportunity to join a thriving organization with a commitment to quality, service, and employee growth.
The Homegrown Hospitality Group consists of 9 different business concepts and over 15 locations located throughout South Carolina in Charleston, Columbia, and Myrtle Beach. Multiple concepts, multiple locations, one big family!

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for the operations of the entire restaurant.
  • Works with all managers, front and back of house, to ensure the satisfaction of our team and guests
  • Works alongside the staff daily, coaching and developing to excel and grow in their career paths
  • Attacks the financials of the restaurant, thinking outside the box to improve overall performance while helping to boost sales and foot traffic
  • Creates action plans and goals for management team to keep them engaged in the success of the operation
  • Oversees inventories and review of all schedules, writes manager schedules that are fair and balanced
  • Hosts the party each day for our guests so they have memorable experiences that keep them coming back
  • Embraces teamwork with co-workers, adding to the culture of fun, plans and attends all staff meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: High School equivalent. Coursework in restaurant management preferred
  • 3 plus years prior professional experience in restaurant general management required, or equivalent experience; showing career progression
  • Must have Restaurant365 and Toast experience.
  • Must be able to analyse and provide variance details on finacial reporting.
  • Must possess proper food handlers and alcohol safety certifications; company will provide them but mut be completed within the standard threshold
  • Satisfactory background/reference check
  • General knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation, responsible alcohol service, safety and security systems and procedures, computer operations
  • Good people management skills, communication and listening skills. Must be flexible and adaptable to change
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skill
  • Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and have a passion for teaching others
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Work as a contributing member of a team with feet on the floor, earnign respect through sweat equity
  • Must be able to read and comprehend written materials, write in grammatically correct sentences, and perform basic to intermediate mathematical computations
  • Must demonstrate strong people management, communication and listening skills along with the ability to positively influence others

  • Asscoiates Degree
  • Coursework in restaurant management
  • Previous experience as an General Manager
SALARY RANGE
$65,000 - $80,000 / Salary Annual (plus monthly bonuses)
