What is a groundskeeper?

Groundskeepers are professionals responsible for maintaining the outdoor areas of properties, such as lawns, gardens, sports fields, parks, and other landscaped spaces. Their duties typically include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting and caring for flowers or trees, removing debris, and ensuring the overall appearance and health of the grounds. Groundskeepers may also operate landscaping equipment, apply fertilizers or pesticides, and perform minor repairs to structures or irrigation systems.
