Job Summary
We are seeking a Seasonal/ Part Time Groundskeeper/ Maintenance Worker to join our team at Rambling Pines Day Camp. In this role, you will mow and manicure laws, trim weeds, split firewood, cleaning, floor care, and perform other related duties. Ultimately, your goal is to keep the facilitys surroundings beautiful and inviting. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with a strong understanding of lawn care and landscaping, and custodial work.
Responsibilities:
  • Mow, weed, and edge lawn areas
  • Pruning, weeding, and mulching
  • Trim hedges, bushes, and trees
  • Maintain clean pathways
  • Ensure outdoor areas are protected from inclement weather
  • Operate push and riding mowers, as well as other landscaping equipment
  • Floor care, mopping, stripping, waxing. General cleaning.
  • Moving storage boxes and furniture.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in Groundskeeping, Landscaping, or other position is preferred
  • High school diploma/GED is preferred
  • Familiarity with landscaping equipment and machinery
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, digging, and standing for long periods
  • Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
