As a Ground Operator, you will play a vital part in ensuring safe, efficient, and organized ground operations, contributing directly to the success and safety of each project. Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and skid steers to support tree care operations
  • Assist tree climbers by managing ropes, providing tools, and handling debris
  • Safely control lowering ropes and guide branches to the ground
  • Transport and process tree limbs and logs using chippers and trailers
  • Manage pedestrian and road traffic to maintain a safe work environment
  • Follow company safety standards and ANSI tree care guidelines
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site
Qualifications
  • Experience in tree care or landscaping is preferred but not required
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Basic knowledge of arborist knots and rigging techniques, or willingness to learn
