Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented GMD Ground Systems Product Requirements Engineer to join our team! In this role you will work as a technical staff member of the GMN SE team supporting definition of performance requirements for the GMD Ground System.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assist the GMN System Engineering Lead in developing Ground System-level performance requirements and top-down performance requirement decomposition of Ground Systems Performance Specification (GSPS) requirements and Warfighter system needs.

  • Ensure requirements trace from higher-level Missile Defense System (MDS) and GMD System requirements to GSPS to Prime Item Development Specifications (PIDS).

  • Coordinate directly with System-level requirements developers to ensure appropriate decomposition and tracing as well as planning for and delivering on System-level verification needs.

  • Review GMD Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables and Objective Evidence artifacts, and provide comments and recommendations for concurrence or guidance.

  • Provide technical expertise for requirement development and verification planning/approach for new or expanded GMD System capabilities.

  • Support GMN in the preparation, conduct, and after-action responsibilities for Sprint reviews, program management reviews, system requirements reviews, design reviews, project status reviews, test events, fielding readiness reviews, and operational readiness reviews.

  • Develop and present technical reports and briefings including support to the Engineering Review Boards (ERB), other Stakeholder coordination, and Operational Capability List (OCL) approval process.

  • Travel as required (estimated 10%).

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline is required.

  • Minimum of 12 years direct experience in missile defense system engineering is required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and DOORS is required.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are required.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is required.

  • Active security clearance (SECRET or above) is required.

  • Direct experience in digital engineering/DevSecOps development projects.
