Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Dog Groomer to elevate our pet grooming services to new heights! In this dynamic role, you will lead grooming sessions, ensuring each dog receives personalized care, expert grooming, and a positive experience. Your expertise will help maintain our reputation for exceptional pet care, while fostering a welcoming environment for both pets and their owners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your grooming talents and animal handling skills in a vibrant, pet-loving community.
Duties
  • Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and finishing for dogs of all breeds and sizes.
  • Lead grooming sessions with confidence, ensuring safety and comfort for each pet through proper animal restraint and handling techniques.
  • Provide pet care advice to owners regarding grooming routines, coat maintenance, and overall health considerations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized in all grooming areas and adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols at all times.
  • Assist with dog training and behavioral assessments to ensure cooperative grooming experiences.
  • Address health concerns or special needs of pets.
  • Support team members by sharing expertise in grooming, animal handling, or kennel experience as needed.
Skills
  • Extensive dog handling skills with the ability to manage animals safely and compassionately.
  • Proven 2yrs experience in pet grooming, including breed-specific cuts and styling techniques.
  • Strong animal restraint skills combined with animal care knowledge to ensure safety during grooming.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary, based on weight of the dog.
  • Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and address their concerns professionally.
  • Familiarity with pet sitting, pet care routines, and kennel experience enhances your ability to provide comprehensive care.

  • Base hourly rate of $22-$27/hour.
  • You keep 100% of your tips
  • 50% Commissions on Spa upgrades
  • Total yearly compensation can range between $45,000up to $95,000!
