Job description

SUMMARY

The Overnight Public Space Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of a facility's public areas, such as hotel lobbies, corridors, restrooms, elevators, porches, walkways, and immediate surroundings. They ensure high-standard guest experience by cleaning, polishing, removing trash, and assisting with guest requests.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform a combination of tasks that maintain hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner, thereby contributing to a pleasant, positive guest experience.
  • Deep cleans, sanitizes, and disinfects public restrooms, lobbies, hallways, entrances, and stairwells.
  • Depp cleans the locker rooms, showers and sauna.
  • Depp clean the pool restrooms and showers.
  • Vacuums carpets, mops floors, polishes fixtures, and cleans glass surfaces.
  • Ensure restrooms and public areas are fully stocked with supplies (toilet paper, soap, towels).
  • Regularly empties indoor and outdoor trash receptacles and sanitizes them.
  • Assist guests with inquiries, delivering items, and ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Assists room attendants by delivering linens, clearing debris, and moving heavy items.
  • Polish metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings. Replace light bulbs as needed.
  • Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
  • Vacuum rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
  • Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
  • Maintain all equipment in working order.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management.
  • Greet all members and guests with a smile and hello.
  • Spearheaded high-priority projects from conception to completion as assigned.

Skills/ Abilities:

  • Good verbal communication skills for guest and staff interaction.
  • Professional radio etiquette.
  • Overnight shift and Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
  • Strong focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the department manager.

Education/Experience:

  • Applicable cleaning experience preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.

Physical Requirements:

  • Required to workindoors and outdoors.
  • Must be able to work under variable temperature conditions (extreme heat or cold, indoors/outdoors).
  • Must be able to physically reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift and/or move 25-50 pounds.
  • Be able to stand/walk continuously up to 8 hours per shift.
  • Requires wearing uniforms and adhering to strict grooming standards.
  • Must be able to work around chemicals, dust, fumes and/or odor hazards.

Hours will be 8pm - 4am. Pay Starting at $19/hour
