Kimberton Whole Foods is looking for a part-time Grocery Team Member to join the Wyomissing crew!

Requirements: Part-time, up to 24 hours per week. 

Set Schedule: 

  • Thursdays 12pm-8:30pm
  • Fridays 12pm-8:30pm
  • Saturdays 12pm-8:30pm

Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.

Pay:  $15.00 - $17.00 hourly to start, depending on experience

Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked.

The Grocery Team Member's Primary Responsibilities 

  • Provides exceptional customer service to all.
  • Receives and stocks all dry goods, ready-to-drink beverages, household and bulk items. 
  • Stocks and handles product following guidelines for time and temperature demands.
  • Rotates back stock on a first-in first-out basis.
  • Works in collaboration with the Grocery Department Head to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the department.
  • Understands KWF inventory management practices.
  • Assists the front end by scanning customers groceries and completing all transactions efficiently. Carefully and efficiently bags groceries.  

Requirements

  Physical Capabilities

  • Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) - the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers. 
  • Lifting, gripping and carrying objects - up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products. 
  • Stooping, squatting, & kneeling - stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts. 
  • Walking - short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
  • Standing- prolonged standing. 
  • Work environment - movement based with most of the time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting). 
  • Climate - ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
