Each day, Production fills and checks customer orders for coffee and allied products. Keeps coffee and allied products stocked and rotated for future orders. Grinds and packages coffee products and maintains production logs and other documents relating to the organization's food safety program. Operates and maintains production equipment in a safe, hygienic manner, according to our policies. Cleans production, warehouse area, and surrounding areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Error-free filling and checking coffee and allied product orders; packaging, presentation, and weights are same for delivery, shipment, or will-call.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of PCR's technical software and inventory management platforms; ability to perform troubleshooting and other general technical maintenance.
  • Grinding and packaging coffee.
  • Maintaining adequate inventory levels of fresh coffee and allied products.
  • Cleaning of production area, and all surrounding areas and grounds.
  • Safely operating coffee production equipment, including, but not limited to weigh-and-fill, grinder, scales.
  • Performing regular cleaning and maintenance on production equipment.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with the company's food safety program;individual health requirementsand how to apply our policies while at work.

Additional Responsibilities include the following.

  • Follows schedule and reports all R&M issues for production equipment.
  • Communicate and maintain adequate packaging materials and other supplies necessary to fill orders.
  • Creating and printing package labels.
  • Preparing and wrapping pallets. Loading and unloading.
  • Performs all other related duties and responsibilities as determined by the Production Leadership.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.
