Job Description We are seeking an Internal Cloud Grid Container Virtualization Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Red Hat OpenShift, grid computing, Kubernetes, and Linux virtualization and a proven ability to assess, adapt, and virtualize compute-intensive applications to operate as VM-based workloads on an internal cloud platform. Responsibilities: Partner with grid computing application owners to assess, adapt, and virtualize applications for VM-based deployment on the Internal Cloud Platform.

Ensure virtualized grid workloads meet platform standards for performance, security, resiliency, and operability. Own VM-based deployment patterns and enablement practices for grid use cases. Analyze application architectures and map runtime dependencies.

Design VM deployment models and support migration execution. Validate grid workloads in production-ready environments. Required Skills & Qualifications: 4-5 years supporting grid, batch, or compute-intensive workloads.

Strong technical background in Linux, application dependency analysis, and virtualization. Experience enabling workloads on standardized VM-based platforms. Exposure to migration or modernization initiatives.

Preferred Skills: 8-10+ years supporting grid, HPC, or large-scale compute platforms. Virtualization or cloud infrastructure certification. Experience with migration factories, workload enablement frameworks, or grid modernization.
