  • Sr. BESS Project Development Engineer \/ Renewable Preconstruction Engineer \- Leads the evaluation of energy storage technology options and site layouts to meet technical requirements and long\-term performance targets\n

  • Sr. BESS Project Development Engineer \/ Renewable Preconstruction Engineer \- Facilitates\/manages project design to maximize value and reduce construction\/operations risk\n

    • 7+ years of early stage, preconstruction, or project development engineering experience supporting grid infrastructure, BESS, energy storage, or utility\-scale renewable energy electric transmission systems<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline<\/span><\/span>\n
      <\/li>\n
    • Expertise in negotiating commercial technical terms in EPC, offtake, OEM, and similar commercial project based procurement agreements<\/span><\/span>\n
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • AutoCAD experience \- design & review ofย engineering drawings\/specs<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n
      <\/li>\n
    • Expertise in the development of cost estimates and milestones \- intermediate MS Excel<\/span><\/span>\n
      <\/li>\n
    • Strong cross\-functional collaboration skills across technical\/non\-technical teams\n
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize under ambiguity\n
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Clear, concise writing and presentation skills; proactive and resourceful mindset\n
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Willingness to travel domestically ~20-25%\n
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • An understanding of national energy power markets \- PJM, ERCOT, SPP, MISO, NYISO, ISO\-NE, and WECC is beneficial<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n
