GreenArrow

East Chicago, IN

Job description

Is This Where You’re Meant To Be?

At GreenArrow, we believe purpose and passion go hand in hand. So ask yourself, is this where you’re meant to be?

The Traffic Signal and Lighting Project Manager is responsible for managing municipal and DOT infrastructure projects in the East Chicago market, coordinating field crews, and serving as the primary point of contact for customers, municipalities, and inspectors throughout the project lifecycle. This is a hands-on, field-focused project management role that requires someone equally comfortable on a job site and in a customer meeting.

The ideal candidate brings experience in electrical construction, traffic signal systems, roadway lighting, or DOT and public infrastructure projects, and is ready to lead field technicians while managing day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment. This role offers strong long-term growth potential within a growing infrastructure and transportation services organization.

Here, your growth matters. We’re a company that continuously invests in its people—offering meaningful work that evolves with you, continuous learning and mentorship, and a clear path for advancement. You’ll enjoy a collaborative, fun environment where life-long relationships are built and values guide every decision we make: Protect What Matters, Empower Our People; Unwavering Commitment to Our Customers; Trust Through Loyalty, Honesty, and Transparency; and a Relentless Pursuit of Excellence. Whether you’re based in one of our East or Southeast offices or working remotely from the Eastern U.S., you’ll find belonging, flexibility, and opportunity—backed by competitive compensation, annual bonus potential, and comprehensive benefits.

As our CEO, Lloyd Kuehn, reminds us:

“We take pride in our mission to provide safer and smarter infrastructure solutions for our communities.  We differentiate ourselves in our markets because we have committed partners - our people - who are at the heart of business and pursue excellence in everything we do.  We focus on exceptional experiences for our people, including protection, development, and engagement.  Here, you’re joining a community that invests in you and celebrates your growth.  We are setting the standard for exceptional leadership and professionalism across our industry.”

That’s what makes GreenArrow more than just a company—it’s a community of collaborators, problem solvers, and growth drivers who believe that doing great work also means doing good work.

If this sounds like the place where your purpose meets your potential—then yes, this is where you’re meant to be.

How You’ll Make An Impact

You’ll lead project execution end-to-end—scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety—coordinating internal crews, subcontractors, and client stakeholders.

Project & Field Operations

  • Project Management: Manage traffic signal and roadway lighting projects for municipal and DOT-related clients from initiation through closeout

  • Project Tracking: Support scheduling, manpower coordination, project documentation, reporting, and overall project coordination

Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Customer Communication: Communicate directly and proactively with customers, municipalities, inspectors, and internal operations teams throughout every project
  • Relationship Building: Build strong, trusted working relationships with field personnel, customers, municipal representatives, and project stakeholders
  • Municipal Partnerships: Serve as a knowledgeable and reliable point of contact for public-sector clients; understand their operational needs and represent GreenArrow professionally in every interaction

Required Experience

  • Project Management: 1 to 3 years of project management experience in traffic signal construction, roadway lighting, electrical construction, DOT or public infrastructure projects, or commercial and industrial electrical construction
  • Field Environment: Demonstrated experience working in construction or infrastructure-related environments with the ability to manage field crews and coordinate multiple moving parts simultaneously
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills; comfortable working directly with municipalities and public-sector customers
  • Organization: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced field operations environment
  • Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required
