Job description

Description
Join our full-time warehouse team and play a key role in keeping production and shipping running smoothly. You will handle finished product, prepare orders for shipment, and keep our freezer warehouse clean and organized. Employees also take home weekly factory seconds - your freezer will never be empty!
Day-to-day responsibilities include manually stacking finished product from rollers onto pallets in the freezer, repeatedly lifting 35-pound cases from floor level to build pallets up to six feet high. You will use pallet jacks and forklifts to move, shrink wrap, rotate, and store pallets of finished goods, and follow daily picking tickets to build and stage orders for shipping.
Additional duties include loading and unloading inbound and outbound trucks, verifying piece counts, and completing paperwork for received and shipped goods. Some data entry using inventory management software is required. All team members are expected to maintain general housekeeping in the freezer and warehouse.
Schedule
• Grave Shift, Monday through Thursday
• 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Steady schedule - no rotating shifts
Compensation
• $21.50/hr. to start ($19.50 base + $2.00 weekday grave shift differential)
• Raise to $22.50/hr. upon forklift certification
• Ongoing opportunities to increase pay with experience and performance

Experience
• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience required
Physical Requirements
• Ability to repeatedly lift 35-pound cases from floor level and build pallets up to six feet high
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds from the floor when handling CHEP pallets
• Full range of motion required in the knees, back, and neck
• Comfortable working in a freezer environment averaging -20 degrees Fahrenheit
Work Environment
• Work performed in freezer and warehouse environments with varying noise levels and moving equipment
• This role involves working around industrial machinery and may include exposure to electromagnetic fields generated by production equipment
