Job description

The graphics department of Awning Innovations is seeking an experienced UV flatbed / solvent roll to roll print operator.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

At least 1 year of experience with UV flatbed printing.

At least 1 year of experience roll to roll printing.

At least 1 year experience using rip software to inspect and send print files to printer.

Ability to color match – Print operators are expected to color match PMS swatches, paint samples, and vinyl samples. Managers will assist in dialing in colors and approving color matches.

Ability to read paperwork and rip files from Rasterlink and Flexi Software.

Positive attitude - We expect our employees to embody a positive, solution-oriented outlook while on the clock.


Good work ethic - We all work hard at AI and will expect the same from you. Some weeks will require you to work past 40hrs. AI is a project oriented facility that will fluctuate your schedule at times to fit the project completion dates. This must be understood before accepting the position. We will expect flexibility in your schedule to meet these deadlines. This part of the job can be stressful, but it’s necessary in order to complete the work that needs to be done. Half days on Saturdays every so often are not out of the ordinary.
Organization/Detail oriented - This skill set will be necessary to catch potential print problems and prevent/limit rework on projects. Organization will also help to accurately log materials which are regularly audited by the inventory department. 

Punctuality -  Show up ready to work at 7:00am.

Fitness - Able to lift 50lbs, 48” & 60” printing rolls, moving 4x8 .25” thick acrylic substrates.

Beneficial traits:

Lamination and graphic application experience.

Graphic Pre-press experience

Flexi software knowledge

Rasterlink software knowledge

Vinyl cutting/plotting experience

Must have reliable transportation.
