Job description

Dream is looking for an Intern, Graphic Design (8 month)!

We are always looking for the best and brightest to join our thriving community. Dream’s Creative team is currently looking for a Graphic Design Intern who will report directly to the Manager, Graphic Design. You will be working alongside a Senior Graphic Designer and intermediate Graphic Designer on individual and combined initiatives starting in September 2026.

The application deadline for this position is Sunday May 31st, 2026, at 11:59pm.

Who are you?

There’s a lot happening at Dream, and it’s happening fast. Are you passionate, creative and driven? Are you deadline-oriented but still easy going? Do you love working with people? If so, read on. We want to hear from you.

Dream certainly keeps busy. We are looking for someone who wants to join our fast-paced environment to help us to develop new, creative and forward-thinking ideas to build our brand, marketing and communications platform further. As a designer, you will be interested to note that our brand identity has been favorited thousands of times on Behance and won the Community Choice award in the global Core 77 Design awards 2015.

We want you to join us because you are people-oriented: you keep our internal and external clients in mind in all that you do, so much so that you can anticipate their needs and design accordingly. You are friendly and people-oriented yet comfortable working independently, and you pay attention to detail without losing sight of your goals and priorities.

We want to bring on someone who is eager to learn, work hard, and have fun. In other words, we want you to fit in here. This is an opportunity for you to take on responsibilities, build on your already strong skill set and help your team achieve its goals, all in a work environment that is fast-paced, dynamic and fun.

What will you do?

You will be supporting the Creative Team in their marketing and communications efforts. Concretely, here are a few of the primary responsibilities you’ll be taking on:

  • Execute beautiful graphic communications based on our award-winning Dream brand identity system;
  • Assist in setting up files, organizing files and searching for missing file links when needed;
  • Create collateral for our communities based on existing brand guidelines;
  • Translate and develop templates that can be used by non-designers in common software like Power Point and Microsoft; and
  • Assist with tasks related to our digital platforms and alleviating workload from Digital Specialist where needed.

What type of experience and skills do you have?

These are only some of the things we’d like you to bring to the table. We can cover the rest when we meet:

  • You have experience in working directly with clients;
  • You’re going to college or University to obtain a degree in Graphic Design;
  • BONUS! You’re web and social media savvy, with good knowledge in front end WordPress, as well as social media platforms including Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram;
  • You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop) – for both web (digital) and print;
  • Basic skills in HTML and CSS for e blasts; and
  • Proficient in the setup of print ready files for production.

In addition to your resume, please apply with a pdf version or web link to your portfolio that showcases your past work/projects.
