Position Title: Graphics Installer
Location: St. Charles, MO
Primary Responsibilities:
A Graphics Installer is responsible for the installation and application of various graphics, signage, and visual elements in different environments, while meeting project timelines. This role requires a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and creativity. The Graphics Installer plays a crucial role in bringing visual designs to life and contributing to the overall success in customer branding and marketing projects.
  • Applies vinyl graphics, decals, and signage to various surfaces such as walls, windows, vehicles, floors, and other substrates. (Most commonly used materials include 3M, Avery, Macteac)
  • Ensures precise measurements and alignment for accurate and visually appealing installations.
  • Utilizes appropriate tools and equipment to cut, trim, and shape graphics, as needed.
  • Prepares surfaces for installation by cleaning, priming, and ensuring proper adhesion.
  • Removes old or outdated graphics and adhesive materials using safe and effective techniques.
  • Conducts on-site assessments to determine the feasibility and requirements of graphic installations.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and project managers to understand specific installation needs.
  • Receives and inspects graphic materials to ensure quality and accuracy before installation.
  • Manages inventory of installation materials and coordinates orders, as needed.
  • Communicates effectively with clients, project managers, and other team members to provide updates, address concerns, and coordinate schedules.
  • Keeps detailed records of completed installations and reports on any issues or challenges encountered.
  • Follows all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of tools and equipment.
  • Performs basic housekeeping tasks throughout each day and at the end of each shift.

Required Experience and Skills:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read simple instructions and follow measurements.
  • Familiarity with using hand tools and can read a tape measure.
  • Must possess or learn the following skill sets:
    • Mechanical Aptitude
    • Read and understand graphic layout instructions
    • Ability to solve simple issues and learn the job quickly
    • Safe operation of man lifts and forklift
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision with high - quality workmanship.
  • Valid state driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Demonstrate safe driving practices while driving company vehicles or when driving your personal vehicle on behalf of the company.
  • Must demonstrate a consistent and stable work history, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant certifications or vocational training.
  • Prior experience in graphic installation or related field.
  • Knowledge of various graphic materials and adhesives.
  • Prior experience in carpentry, flooring, drywall, wallpaper installation, or similar hands-on trades.

Physical Requirements:
  • Physically able to stand up to 8+ hours per day.
  • Must have the ability to hear and respond to auditory signals, distinguish tones and pitches in equipment, and use hearing protection during specific tasks.
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, stoop, squat, kneel, climb, balance, and reach overhead.
  • Ability to work in various environments and weather conditions.
  • Ability to ascend/descend on a ladder and work atop scaffolding.
  • Some travel may be required for the purpose of on-site assistance/repair.
