You don't just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset - who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.
WHO YOU ARE

The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in motion design with hands-on experience across modern design applications and production methods. They should be a technically minded individual who can adopt new applications easily and has a basic understanding of coding and scripting. This role requires a passion for visual storytelling, and the ability to bring ideas to life through motion graphics and video editing.
Join our creative and enthusiastic team, where your innovative ideas will help shape our brand's digital identity and drive impactful marketing initiatives. We look forward to meeting you!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Design and create engaging motion graphics for a wide range of projects, including but not limited to promotional videos, event stage graphics, social media content, product demonstrations, and visual effects.
  • Streamline the production process by developing, utilizing, and maintaining Premiere templates (MOGRTs) that reduce turnaround times and ensure visual cohesion across all collaborative projects.
  • Manage day-to-day production of motion assets within established timelines and brand guidelines.
  • Partner with Video Editors to weave motion design into live-action footage, ensuring that graphics and effects complement the narrative and enhance the overall quality of the edit.
  • Utilize Adobe applications to edit and assemble compelling assets that align with the project's objectives and target audience.
  • Integrate generative AI workflows to accelerate conceptual exploration and automate technical tasks, allowing for faster iteration without sacrificing brand integrity.
  • Support motion projects with sound design, layering music, sound effects, and voiceovers with guidance from senior creatives.
  • Assist in exploring new motion formats (e.g., web experiences, data visualizations) alongside senior team members.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in 3D software (e.g., Cinema 4D or Blender) to create 3D graphics and animations.
  • Collaborate with others on the Brand & Creative team to develop strong visual narratives that effectively communicate key messages and emotions.
  • Perform color grading and finishing to ensure visual assets are polished and consistent with brand standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies to consistently improve and innovate motion graphics, video editing, and sound editing practices.
  • Contribute to and help maintain a library of graphic elements, templates, and project files to streamline workflow and optimize collaboration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate feedback and ensure motion assets align with project objectives and brand standards.
  • Seek and incorporate feedback from senior designers and creative leads to continuously improve quality of output.
WHAT YOU'LL HAVE
  • Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, easing, and visual rhythm to create polished motion work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects and Premiere. Familiarity with file optimization and render management best practices.
  • Ability to incorporate video and audio elements into animation projects, enhancing the overall audio-visual experience.
  • Strong visual storytelling abilities, with the skill to translate creative briefs into storyboards and style frames with direction from senior creatives.
  • Technically oriented and forward-thinking mindset with a curiosity and willingness to explore AI-assisted tools to optimize workflows.
  • Strong communication skills. You can clearly present your work and incorporate feedback constructively.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION
  • 2-4 years in motion graphics design, video editing, and sound editing, with a diverse portfolio showcasing your capabilities and versatility.
  • Proficiency in Adobe applications and an expert of Adobe After Effects and Premiere, with a strong understanding of their functionalities and integration for seamless workflows.
  • Proficient in creating 3D graphics and animations using software like Cinema 4D, or Blender.
