Weigel Broadcasting in Chicago, IL is seeking an experienced expert in motion and still design. The role requires a highly collaborative, concept driven creator with substantial experience working within a TV network, major market station, streaming platform, or related media environment.


About the Role

· Report to the Creative Services Director with additional reporting to the Art Director

· Support marketing efforts for Weigel’s 10 television networks

· Contribute bold ideas, solutions focused mindset, driven by a passion for TV, their work, and the creative process

· Hybrid Schedule: 4 days in our Chicago corporate office and 1 day remote


What You’ll Do

· Design and impact dynamic motion graphics for network sizzle videos

· Craft digital and print presentation decks, one sheets, and other assorted collateral materials that communicate the company’s story

· Collaborate with the team effectively and communicate with all employees across the organization

· Maintain strong organizational skills, managing multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting tight deadlines


What You’ll Bring

· Proven experience working at a TV network, major market station, streaming service, studio or agency

· Advanced creative and technical skills using the Adobe creative suite, as well as PowerPoint and other appropriate design tools

· A refined visual aesthetic that exemplifies creative and clean graphic design, layout, and typography, with heavy motion graphics skills

· A portfolio demonstrating TV motion graphics for sizzles, on-air promos or consumer product ads, as well as still design work examples
