Job description

Graphic Production Specialist

The Graphic Production Specialist is a key member of the Graphic & Print Production team at BlueprintStudios, responsible for executing event graphic deliverables from initial handoff through on-site installation. This role partners closely with Sales, Creative, Print, and Field Operations to ensure all assets are production-ready, accurately routed, printed to spec, and flawlessly installed. While not a creative-facing position, the Specialist plays a critical role in managing timelines, technical specs, file preparation, print coordination, proofing, and field support to guarantee seamless project execution.

Responsibilities

Project Lifecycle Ownership

  • Serve as the primary production point of contact for assigned event programs.
  • Participate in internal kickoff meetings to align on deliverables, specs, and timelines.
  • Manage graphic deliverables from creative handoff through installation and debrief.

File & Asset Management

  • Organize and manage production folders on the shared drive.
  • Review creative files for production accuracy (scaling, bleeds, paneling, resolution).
  • Generate and manage version-controlled Graphic and Print Proofs.

Print Production Coordination

  • Coordinate internal and vendor print workflows for assigned graphics.
  • Route files to print team using Asana task management.
  • Confirm material types, install locations, and substrate requirements.
  • Collect and archive production photos from Print and Field teams.

Quality Control & Install Prep

  • Conduct pre-install quality checks on all print deliverables.
  • Identify and escalate file or material issues to Senior Graphics Production Manager.
  • Coordinate with Field Ops to ensure readiness of all graphic elements.
  • Collaborate with Field Ops to align on application and placement.

Onsite & Post-Production Support

  • Provide remote or on-site support during installation days as directed by supervisor.
  • Troubleshoot last-minute graphic issues with vendors or install team.
  • Support project wrap-up documentation, feedback gathering, and file archiving.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in event or print production (agency or in-house).
  • Strong knowledge of substrates, large-format printing processes, and production specifications.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign for managing and preparing production files.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Slack, Dropbox).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Experience supporting on-site event installs preferred.
