Job Overview:


We're looking for a Sr. Designer who is a strong conceptual visual storyteller. The ideal candidate will take direction from written or spoken briefs and convert them into visually appealing graphics that can be used across a variety of digital and social channels as well as advertising campaigns, print, branding, presentation decks, and more.

Please note, this role will be based in the Toronto area, with expectation of three days a week of in-office work. This is a 1 year fixed term position covering a parental leave.

What You'll Do:

You will act as both curator and creator of visually interesting design for a world-class company, which includes representation of the biggest names from across the globe. We work in a fast-paced environment, so the ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a demanding atmosphere and work brilliantly in a team environment.

  • Execute visually appealing and compelling design requests to support the needs of the company, primarily static assets for social media channels on Instagram, X, and LinkedIn. Ensure assets are optimized for each platform.

  • Digital, print, and experiential design

  • Presentation and digital marketing materials

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design

  • Manage your time in a smart and efficient manner, clearly communicating with your manager ensuring everyone is on the same page at all touch points of the project

  • Work simultaneously on multiple projects and meet deadlines

Who You Are:

  • 3- 6 years experience

  • A conceptual visual storyteller

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively package, present and sell your work and thinking to both internal and external stakeholders

  • Can identify storylines and passion points

  • Develop strong, high-level design systems and brand identities that can work across various mediums, from collateral to digital

  • Efficiently combine creativity, graphic design, functionality and technology to create impactful and eye-catching visual communications

  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud

  • Has a demonstrated background in branding and identity design

  • Immersive knowledge of the latest cultural, industry, and design trends

  • Has the ability to work closely with the production team in pre-production, content creation, preparation, and roll-out of final art files

  • Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to develop good working relationships with internal teams

  • Works independently and manages time efficiently in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment

  • Ability to maneuver through tight turnarounds through sound multi-tasking and prioritization skills


Base salary range: $75-90k CAD, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.

Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each role.
