Graphic Designer - Print Production - Reprographics


United Staffing Solutions has the honor of representing a leading media and corporate organization in their search for a Graphic Designer for a long-term temporary position. This role focuses on graphic design and print in an in-house reprographics department that runs like a print shop.


Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY
Job Type: Long-Term Temporary, Indefinite
Schedule: Typically Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, with flexibility for overtime during the week as well as rotating Saturday nights during busy season (October-April)
Pay Rate: $20-$25/hour, depending on experience


Responsibilities for the Graphic Designer / Print Specialist:

  • Preparing graphics for print, ensuring quality of image and logos across various mediums.
  • Communicating with various clients to plan timeline and budget for print projects
  • Designing, creating, and printing custom orders and standard items for various broadcasts, events, etc.
  • Designing and creating invites, emails, event credentials, swag, etc. for various clients.
  • Designing and printing/producing stationary, posters, brochures, etc.
  • Assisting with the creation and editing PowerPoint presentations and decks for the facilities team and upper management.
  • Creative problem solving while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.


Requirements for the Graphic Designer / Print Specialist:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar design role with a focus on print
  • Previous experience working in an on-site print shop, reprographics center, or print production environment with commercial/digital printers and production equipment is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Experience utilizing Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat
  • Experience working with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented and able to follow instructions carefully
  • Flexible, team-player attitude is a must. Everyone in the department wears multiple hats and duties may change.
