The Social Media team is looking for a dynamic and creative individual with a passion for all things social.
The team is responsible for engaging online communities while supporting multiple business units, ranging from the hotel, events and entertainment, F&B, ArtScience Museum, and more.

The Social Media Intern (SMI) will assist the Social Media team in a range of social and marketing initiatives for Marina Bay Sands' F&B portfolio. This involves creating engaging content across Marina Bay Sands's diverse restaurants (Jin Ting Wan, Wakuda, Maison Boulud and more) as well as being part of on-ground events and on-property shoots. The SMI will also be involved in managing our diverse online communities across all owned social media platforms.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ideate and develop impressive F&B focused content for both paid and organic social - with a focus on short form videos for all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).

  • Support team leads in producing and project managing social media campaigns across restaurants.

  • Work with the F&B team on developing content calendars as required on a weekly and monthly basis.

  • Assist with researching and writing content adapted for different social channels.

  • Admin aiding collaboration with wider departments to create social-first content and property activations.

  • A research focus on Instagram (Reels, Stories, Feed, Guides) and TikTok with short-form video-first mindset.

  • Actively engage with our online communities across all owned social media platforms through monitoring and responding to posts, comments and reviews.

  • To support the wider team on ad-hoc events and projects which may include event coverage and producing event reports

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

  • Preferably studying for a Diploma/Degree with interest in social/digital.

  • Interest or experience in video shooting and editing, creating content across social via in-app, on mobile or on desktop.

  • Interest and experience in graphic design as well as video shooting and editing, creating content across social via in-app, on mobile or on desktop.

  • A dynamic individual with an eye on pop culture and emerging social/digital trends.

  • Proficient with editing short-form video content for social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and X).

  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills with a passion for wordsmithery.

  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and adept at working cross-team to support the team - administration, calendar planning, coordinating.

  • Good project management and attention to detail.

  • A team player who takes initiative and is able to work collaboratively in a team.

  • Able to work independently and also under direction.

  • Attention to detail with a high motivation to learn.

Experience

  • Interest/experience in SG/APAC/Global Marketing & Advertising and/or the Hospitality/F&B industry.

Other Prerequisites

  • Likes challenges, takes initiative and people-person.

  • Good knowledge of social media platforms and trends.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premier Pro would be an advantage.
