Berman Auto Group is looking for a creative, organized, and hands-on Marketing Assistant to support marketing initiatives across our dealership brands.ย 

The ideal candidate has experience in content creation, video editing, digital marketing, basic graphic design, website management, and event support.ย 

Job Title: Marketing Assistant
Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:30AM-5:00PM - Occasional Saturdays with a weekday off in return
Location: 3456 N Kedzie Ave. Chicago, IL
Remote: No
Pay: $52,000 - $58,000 annually, based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create photo and video content for social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
  • Professionally edit short-form and promotional videos.
  • Create basic graphics, banners, flyers, and promotional materials.
  • Assist with social media planning, publishing, and campaign execution.
  • Manage basic website updates, including content, images, banners, promotions, links, and landing pages.
  • Support Google Business Profile and SEO initiatives.
  • Assist with email marketing and other digital marketing initiatives.
  • Help monitor campaign performance, website traffic, and marketing analytics.
  • Assist with dealership events, sponsorships, community partnerships, and promotional initiatives.
  • Attend events to support execution and capture photo/video content.
  • Coordinate with dealership teams, vendors, and marketing partners.
  • Help manage marketing calendars, projects, deadlines, and follow-ups.
  • Independently execute marketing projects from content creation through publishing and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business, or a related field preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in marketing, digital marketing, content creation, or social media.
  • Strong video editing and content creation skills.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and Google Business Profile.
  • Basic website content management/CMS experience.
  • Basic graphic design skills.
  • Experience with creative tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar platforms.
  • Basic understanding of SEO, website analytics, tracking, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Ability to travel between multiple dealership locations is required.
  • Automotive experience is a plus, but not required.
