With corporate headquarters in New Jersey, the company is on a course of growth leading to activities across the nation.
Given ongoing construction and development plans, our current apartment portfolio of 6,000 plus units is expected to double in the next couple of years and rise to over 12,000 units in the next five years.
Given our rapid portfolio growth, coupled with ownership's desire to develop and hold rather than sell, the timing is ideal for qualified candidates to join us.
We're currently seeking a Commercial Graphic Designer
The candidate will work at our corporate office in Piscataway, NJ
Summary of Responsibilities
This individual will provide graphic support for the Commercial Leasing team,
creating strong and effective marketing materials that communicate the Edgewood Properties brand message.
The right candidate would work with the Senior Vice President of Commercial Leasing and Acquisitions,
the Commercial Marketing Manager, and other senior-level staff,
managing multiple print and digital design responsibilities in the Company's Commercial marketing and promotional efforts for the entire Commercial portfolio.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities for Edgewood Properties including its partners and subsidiaries such as M&M Realty Partners, M&T Realty Partners, etc. (the "Company") will include:
  • Rendering (i.e. coloring up, adding logos and site-specific marketing details and updating) of the Commercial Leasing department's site plans, marketing brochures, aerials, etc. to be stored on the Company's Marketing Drive.
  • Coordinating with the Company's respective design departments to ensure that leasing plans and square footages are accurate, current and consistent with all other department's records;
  • Management and design of website graphics, including site plans, photos, and other images as-needed.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis for commercial properties to support leasing strategy and identify opportunities
  • Develop and design compelling presentations and marketing materials to assist the leasing team in showcasing property value
  • Create graphics for social media campaigns and e-blasts to increase the Company's exposure;
  • Design eye-catching and informational signage and trade show graphics, looking for cutting-edge and effective ways to deliver the Company's message.

Qualifications
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years' experience in Graphic Design
  • Well-versed in the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator).

Skills, attributes and additional requirements:
  • Strong creative, organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills.
  • Possess strong conceptual skills, high-level sense of design, layout and typography, and ability to offer a variety of design solutions.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task and see projects through to completion.
